Main Responsibilities

Administrative support to the Office of Health Center Administration and teaching of evidence-based medicine, clinical epidemiology, biostatistics and critical appraisal of the research literature.

Teaching

Dr. Wetstone is the course director/primary instructor for the two-semester core Master of Public Health courses, Introduction to Epidemiology and Biostatistics and for the required 1st year medical/dental school Biostatistics block. He is co-course director/instructor for the require Scientific Evidence in Research course in the M.D./Ph.d. curriculum. . He serves as a conference leader for Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Health and Human Development course in the Medical and Dental Schools, directs and teaches a course in Epidemiology for High School students in the Health Careers Opportunities Program, and teaching in the undergraduate public health courses on the main University campus.

Research Interests

Dr. Wetstone's main research interest is educational methodologies.
